[Xquartz-dev] XQuartz website

Since the latest XQuartz release is quite out of date, and MacPort’s
xorg-server is more recent, would it be possible to add a note on the
XQuartz site about this? XQuartz crashes consistently on my High Sierra
laptop, while xorg-server runs just fine.

XQuartz crashes consistently on my High Sierra laptop, while xorg-server runs just fine.

That isn't expected. That version of XQuartz is working as expected on High Sierra and Mojave for me. Where is it crashing?

2.7.11 consistently crashes on my laptop with High Sierra with "__glXExtensionInit: AddExtensions failed” The full output is attached.

Previously, on my laptop with Sierra, it was hit and miss whether it would work. Usually, I had to run it several times before it ran.
